Mission and Purpose

Leadership & Goal Setting: Interactive workshops on setting personal and academic goals, decision-making, and self-advocacy.  Positive Self-Image & Confidence: Hands-on creative projects, positive affirmation exercises, and group discussions to foster self-esteem and resilience.  Etiquette & Communication: Role-playing activities covering active listening, effective communication, respectful peer interaction, and social etiquette.  Team Building & Mentorship: Collaborative group games, problem-solving challenges, and guided discussions designed to build teamwork and supportive friendships.

10 students are invited to this club to compete with other schools for the First Inspires Lego League. To introduce students in grades 4 and 5 to STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) through real-world problem solving, hands-on robotics, and team-based friendly competition

The Vision of the Liv Generalettes is to inspire creativity, build confidence, and foster teamwork through the art of dance. Our vision is to create a supportive and inclusive environment where young ladies feel empowered to express themselves, develop their skills, and shine on and off the stage by exhibiting poise and increasing their self-value and individual uniqueness. Together, we aim to celebrate the joy of movement, cultivate a sense of community, and encourage a lifelong love for dance.

The mission of ALES School Garden Club is "To cultivate environmental stewardship, healthy habits, and a spirit of community through hands-on gardening, sustainable practices, and outdoor discovery."  The ALES School Garden Club aims to connect students with nature while providing experiential learning beyond the traditional classroom.

Seasonal Planting & Garden Maintenance 
Garden Planning & Bed Design: Students map out garden plots, choose season-appropriate crops, and design planting layouts.
Seed Starting & Propagation: Sprouting seeds indoors in seedling trays before transplanting them into outdoor raised beds.
Plant Care Routine: Hands-on experience with daily/weekly tasks such as watering, weeding, mulching, and pruning.
Soil Health & Composting: Learning how to manage a compost bin using cafeteria food scraps and schoolyard yard waste to build nutrient-rich soil.

The ALES Drama Club provides a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment where students develop creativity, communication skills, self-confidence, and teamwork through acting, storytelling, stagecraft, and performance opportunities. We encourage every student to discover their unique talents, take creative risks, and grow as both performers and leaders.

Drama Club students will participate in Black History Night and International Fine Arts Night. Throughout the year students will also be provided various opportunities to engage in community partnerships and events related to the Arts.
